Friday noon status update

The abdominal obstruction caused a great deal of discomfort this morning for dad/grandpa.  A tube has been inserted to empty his stomach which has helped.  Doctors continue to be confident that he will recover.  He is now resting comfortably.  It was very good that Jackie was there.
